u I am looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to work on distributed/online optimization, communication-efficient distributed learning, federated learning, and other related areas. Candidates should have published papers in relevant top-tier venues.

 

Biography:

Since October 2021, I have been an assistant professor with the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Clear Water Bay, Hong Kong. From August 2017 to October 2021, I was successively a postdoctoral research associate with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University (advisors: H. Vincent Poor and Junshan Zhang), and the Coordinated Science Lab at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (advisor: Tamer Başar). I received the M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2016 and 2017, respectively, under the supervision of K. J. Ray Liu. Prior to that, I got a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2013.
